This Privacy Notice explains how ActuaPlan (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit actuaplan.com or use our services. Questions? Email privacy@actuaplan.com.
Privacy is the key principle of ActuaPlan. We don’t sell your personal data and we don’t run targeted ads.

1) Data we collect & why

We do not sell personal data. We don’t show interest‑based ads or share data with advertisers.
2) Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure basic site usage. GA4 typically uses first‑party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You can control cookies in your browser settings, use Google’s opt‑out add‑on, or contact us to opt out of analytics for your account. We don’t enable Google’s advertising features for remarketing.
- You can browse with cookies disabled; core site features will still work.
- We do not store IP addresses in GA4 reports (GA4 doesn’t log or store IPs).
3) Sharing with service providers
We share data only with providers who help us run ActuaPlan, for example:

These providers only process personal data on our instructions and for the purposes described above. We keep a record of our processors and the data they handle.
4) How long we keep data
- Saved scenarios: kept until you delete them.
- Account data: kept while you have an account and then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
- Billing records (if applicable): kept for the period required by tax/accounting laws.
- Server logs: typically 30 days, unless needed to investigate or prevent abuse.
5) Your choices & rights
You can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Withdraw consent (for example, to analytics) at any time; and
- Request data portability—ask us to transmit your personal data to another controller where technically feasible.

6)International transfers
We use Google Cloud Run (EU) and Firebase (EU/US). When personal data is transferred outside Malaysia, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., provider contractual clauses) or other conditions permitted by law. We keep a record of our processors and transfers.
7) Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported by our providers, access controls, and monitoring. We use industry practice to secure your data and use reputable providers.
8) Children
ActuaPlan is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9) Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify registered users in‑app or by email.
